Bhutan Extension: 11/23-26

A 4-night, 3-day tour to Bhutan offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration, natural beauty, and spiritual experiences. Your journey begins with an arrival at Paro International Airport, followed by a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. In Thimphu, immerse yourself in the country’s rich culture by visiting landmarks like the Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue. You’ll also explore the National Library, the Folk Heritage Museum, and local markets, where you can witness Bhutanese arts, crafts, and traditions. After soaking in the charm of Thimphu, travel back to Paro to visit the historic Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong Museum. The highlight of the trip is a trek to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), a sacred site perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. This rewarding hike offers breathtaking views and a deep sense of serenity. The tour concludes with time to enjoy Paro’s local markets and stunning scenery before departing from Paro International Airport.
